Roberto Mancini has held talks with Chievo on both Monday 3rd and Tuesday 4th about the possible transfer of Ervin Zukanovic.
The Nerazzurri have targeted a number of players so far as the Serie A season begins to come to a close, with the Flying Donkey’s defender one of the men Mancini wishes to add to his team.
As stated by Sky Sport Italia, Mancini spoke with the directors at Chievo during the first week of May in an attempt to convince their league rivals to sell the 28-year-old.
Zukanovic has had an impressive first season for the Italian side since leaving Belgium for Serie A, playing on 27 occasions and picking up two goals along the way.
The Bosnian would move to Inter should his current side receive a reported transfer fee of €2 million they wish to obtain from the Nerazzurri.
