With AC Milan’s takeover nearly complete, Bee Taechaubol is insisting that under his stewardship the club will aim for the Serie A title and Champions League.
Taechaubol has returned to Thailand in order to finalise a few details of the takeover, hoping to close the deal in a few weeks.
“We have negotiated an exclusive position with Fininvest to acquire a share of Milan.” a statement from Taechaubol read,
“Once concluded, we will roll up our sleeves and start working.
“Milan is not where it should be; fighting for Serie A and the final stages of the Champions League.”
Taechaubol also gave an interview to Sky Sport Italia stating: “I cannot say if [the deal will be] for 51 percent or 49 percent. Milan are the best team, the most prestigious to be exported around the world.”
The Thai businessman also indicated that he would find a place for current owner Silvio Berlusconi in the new board.
