Juventus striker Alvaro Morata has said he is excited for his side’s return fixture against Real Madrid.

La Vecchia Signora defeated the Spaniards 2-1 on Tuesday evening at the Juventus Stadium in the first leg of their Champions League semi-final, with the return leg in a weeks time in Spain, which Morata said is at the forefront of the team’s mind.

“It was great that we won, but we cannot think we are through because it was only the first leg,” the 22-year-old told Sky Italia.

“We no longer think of this victory, we only think of the challenge at the Santiago Bernabeu.”

Ex-Madrid player Morata moved to Turin at the start of the season, but he said he is looking forward to going back to the Bernabeu.

“It will be the perfect match, Real Madrid are the best team in the world and they play better at home.”
