Napoli are eyeing Germany as they look to strengthen the squad for next season and have designs on landing Turkish youngster Kerem Demirbay to add necessary midfield depth.
The 21-year-old is currently on loan from Hamburger SV playing for FC Kaiserlautern in Bundesliga 2 where the left-footed talent has featured in 19 matches including 16 starts.
According to a report in German newspaper Kicker, the Partenopei have made inquires into signing the Turkey U-21 international and will reportedly face competition from Lazio to bring the youngster to the San Paolo.
Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis favors signing emerging talent and developing their skills and Demirbay fits into that mould as the club is likely to part ways with at least one veteran midfielder in Gokhan Inler or Walter Gargano this summer.
