Napoli forward Duvan Zapata could be set to join Torino this summer as part of a swap deal with defender Nikola Maksimovic.
The Colombian Under-20 international is a long-term transfer target of Il Toro after being linked with a move in both the summer and winter transfer windows over the last year.
La Stampa reports that the 24-year-old attacker is valued at €12 million by Napoli meaning that a transfer between the two clubs could become part of a bigger deal involving other players.
The Granata may generate additional revenue by selling Maksimovic with the Serbian international believed to be a transfer target of a number of European sides, including Bayern Munich.
The registration of Omar El Kaddouri, who has been on-loan at Torino from Napoli in as part of a co-ownership deal for the last two seasons, could also be part of negotiations.
Zapata has scored six goals in Serie A this season with 14 of his 20 appearances in the league coming as a substitute.
