Parma Palermo NocerinoOn-loan midfielder Antonio Nocerino has said that he wants another year to prove himself at parent club AC Milan.

The 30-year-old who is currently at Parma said that the club had helped him find his love for football again.

Speaking at a press conference, the former Palermo player spoke of his desire to fulfil his contract at Milan.

“I have another year left on my contract with Milan. I’m ambitious and I feel indebted to the club and I want a chance with the Rossoneri. Milan is my home. I won’t deny it.”

The Italian then stated that Parma had helped him rediscover his best form after a tumultuous first half of the season with Torino, coinciding with the death of his parents.

“I spent 40 days feeling sick and even considered quitting. I wanted to take a six-month break but I found a second family here [at Parma].”

The former Italian international then went on to thank the staff at the Ducali for helping him rediscover his form.

“This situation helped me to overcome the difficulties and I want to publicly thank the employees, the coach, the staff and my team mates as all were exceptional with me.”

Since joining the club in mid-January, Nocerino has appeared in every game the Gialloblù have played, scoring two goals.
