Giuseppe Iachini declared himself happy enough despite seeing his Palermo side draw 0-0 at Sassuolo.

In a game of few chances it was The Rosanero who looked the more likely to break the deadlock.

”Today we had a good first half in terms of dribbling and possession,” Iachini told Mediaset Premium.

”We were quite effective but unfortunately we missed that killer blow. I could not ask anymore of the players though as it was our third game in six days so it is normal that we lacked the usual intensity.”

Iachini was also cool when quizzed about a possible swap deal involving star striker Paulo Dybala going to Juventus with young French striker Kingsley Coman heading the other way.

”Coman is a player who is doing well at Juventus and it’s up to the president if they want him to come here,” the tactician said.

“Is Dybala ready for a big move? He has had a great season with us, he is working very well and still wants to improve.”

Despite a poor end to the season for the Sicilians, Iachini was still adamant that their return back to Serie A had been a successful one.

”We’re are coming to the end of the season with our goal of staying in the division achieved,” he said, “and we have put in a lot of effort, and potentially could have gone higher, so it is normal that you may see a dip in form.”
