Mirante – Parma

Parma goalkeeper Antonio Mirante has revealed his desire to play under Inter coach Roberto Mancini, who he considers to be a great coach.

The Ducali goalkeeper has been linked with a move to the Nerazzurri this summer, and the 31-year-old would welcome a move to Milan, especially if it means being under Mancini’s tutelage.

“Mancini? Who wouldn’t want to work with him? We are speaking about one of greatest coaches ever and every player would like to be a part of his team,” Mirante told FCInterNews.it.

“The Nerazzurri are a great team. The destination is obviously pleasant.”

Despite the interest from Inter, Mirante wants to see how the financial crisis is resolved at Parma and who the new owners will be before he considers making a transfer.

“First I want to understand how things will conclude at Parma,” he said. “It will be up to the administrators to make things clear.

“Once it is verified, I will make a decision on my future and I will evaluate the offers.”
