Parma goalkeeper Antonio Mirante says he is ‘honored’ by alleged interest from the Nerazzurri.

The 31-year-old Italian has been a consistent performer for Parma ever since joining back in 2010, and Inter are keen to bring him into their squad for next season as Samir Handanovic’s deputy.

“Inter? I am honored to be linked with such a great team, it’s a beautiful thing,” Mirante told Sky Sport Italia.

“First, I want to finish the season, then sit down with the new buyer of Parma to discuss my future, which I will then consult with my agent.”

Mirante will likely play his second last game for the Ducali  against Napoli on the weekend, with his time at the club nearly certain to be coming to an end.
