Parma logoPlayers that have not yet appeared for Parma will not be given any financial settlement after the club’s bankruptcy.

The tumultuous finances of the Gialloblu has spiralled from being expelled from competing in the 2014/15 Europa League to cancelled fixtures and eventually bankruptcy as the team were relegated to Serie B.

In an official club statement, the Ducali’s administrators confirm that the insolvency of Parma FC SpA has been formally communicated to the club’s players, who will be beneficiaries of “incentives and rewards,” unless they have never played an official match for Parma and thus will not be considered due any money.

Furthermore, the statement outlines that this decision was taken to protect the interests of the club’s creditors, with the objective still to find an investor to settle the Ducali’s finances that will allow registration in next season’s Serie B.
