Lazio midfielder Marco Parolo spoke with determination to achieve second place in Serie A after the come from behind 1-1 draw with Atalanta on Sunday.

The Italian notched his ninth goal of the campaign to cancel out Giuseppe Biava’s second half strike at the Stadio Atleti Azzurri d’Italia.

“We must not look at the results of the Roma, but only at ourselves,” said Parolo to Sky Sport Italia.

“There are four games left, if we win then all we will all be in the Champions League.”

The 30-year-old made further reflections on the game and touched on his impressive form throughout the season.

“In the first half were better at them [Atalanta],” he said. “They attacked well and put us in plenty of difficulty. After the goal was conceded, however, we found our game and had chances to win.

“My nine goals? With such strong players in the team I just have to be ready and take our chances.”
