Alexandre Pato’s agent has denied stories that Inter are keen to sign the former AC Milan forward, while also revealing that he has had no contact with the Nerazzurri.
The 25-year-old, currently on loan at Sao Paulo from Corinthians, has found his goalscoring form once again and has also recently been linked with a move to Sampdoria, but his agent has now denied the latest rumours around Inter.
“I can deny that Pato will join Inter,” Gilmar Veloz told FC Internews.it.
“There has been no contact with the Nerazzurri to date and any discussion regarding this hypothetical transfer doesn’t match with reality.
“If Inter came calling? I don’t know [if Pato would move], Alexandre would have to answer directly.
“Have I had contact [with Inter] in the past? No, I can deny this too.”
Pato previously spent six years with Milan and was a key player as the club won the Serie A title in 2011.
