AC Milan striker Giampaolo Pazzini has revealed that he will discuss his future with the Diavolo following their final match of the season against Atalanta on Saturday.

The 30-year-old, who scored his 100th Serie A goal during the Stadio Meazza outfit’s 3-0 home win over Torino on May 24, will be out of a contract in June and is still yet to determine where he’ll be playing next term, though he admits he would like to secure an important role in the Rossoneri squad.

Pazzini spoke to Sky Sport Italia about his future with AC Milan and commented on his 100th goal in Italy’s top tier, while also touching on the Milan side’s rocky campaign.

“It was amazing to score my 100th goal in the Serie A, the fact that I was able to score it in a stadium like the San Siro only added to that feeling,” said the Italian.

“The commemorative shirt? I have to thank Christian Abbiati for the gift.

“Milan’s season? When you’re doing bad, you cannot blame it on just one thing. There are many things that have gone wrong and we just weren’t able to find continuity.

“Was the penalty against Torino my last goal in a Milan shirt? We have another game on Saturday and we want to finish the season with dignity.

“I haven’t spoken with anyone, but I expect to talk with AC Milan soon. I want to stage my comeback here so I can experience satisfaction and feel important.”
