With Inter coach Roberto Mancini expected to make significant changes to the current squad this summer, it looks likely that former midfielder Thiago Motta could be set to return to the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.

After a major role in the Nerazzurri’s historic 2010 treble success, the 32-year-old left for current side Paris Saint-Germain in 2012 where he has picked up two Ligue 1 winners medals.

Although having a contract with the Parisians until June 2016, Tuttosport are now reporting that the Brazilian-born Italy international has agreed a two-year contract to return to Milan.

The cost of taking the midfielder back to Inter should be of little concern to the club given Motta is approaching the latter stages of his career.

However, it has been suggested that the Serie A club may look to offer Fredy Guarin or Hernanes in exchange to balance the books.
