Spanish club Real Madrid have denied making a move to sign Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba.
The 22-year-old Frenchman has been in good form this season for La Vecchia Signora and has therefore been linked with several moves away to clubs such as Barcelona and Real Madrid, but the latter have denied they are interested in making an offer for him.
“With regard to the information published in the Italian newspaper La Stampa about an offer from Real Madrid for Paul Pogba, the club says that we have had no contact with the club or the player’s agent,” a statement from the club said.
“For this reason, the information published is to be considered as false.”
Pogba joined Juventus in the summer of 2012, and has scored 20 goals in 88 Serie A appearances since then.
