Recently-sacked Schalke midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng could be set for a return to the Serie A with Roma.
The 28-year-old former Ghanian international was ousted from the club earlier this month following some poor behavior, and is available on a free transfer.
Corriere della Sera report that Roma coach Rudi Garcia and director Walter Sabatini are contemplating whether to bring Boateng in to the club to add some more depth.
The Giallorossi are intent on shaking things up at the club following a disappointing last six months, and believe Boateng has the character and ability to bring a spark back to the club.
Boateng was a huge hit at AC Milan, before he made a surprise move to the Bundesliga with Schalke in 2013.
