Real Madrid midfielder James Rodriquez expects his side to play a lot better in the second leg of the Champions League semi-final against Juventus after the Spanish giants lost 2-1 to the Serie A champions on Tuesday night at the Juventus stadium.

Goals by Alvaro Morata and a second half penalty by Carlos Tevez with a Cristian Ronaldo header sandwiched in between gave the Bianconeri a slim lead heading in to next weeks second leg in Madrid.

“We have to put this game behind us now and think about winning the second leg and progressing to the final,” Rodriquez told reporters after the game.

“We must have faith in ourselves as we will be playing in front of our own fans in a packed Santiago Bernabeu which always helps us, it’s going to be an incredible atmosphere.”
