Napoli RomaRoma and Napoli have both received fines from the sports judge following the weekend’s fixtures in Serie A.

The Giallorossi have received a fine of €3,000 for unjustifiably delaying the start of their match against Genoa on Sunday by approximately three minutes.

A first-half strike by Seydou Doumbia and a late Alessandro Florenzi goal was enough to earn Rudi Garcia’s men a 2-0 victory at the Stadio Olimpico.

Napoli have received a fine of €10,000 as a result of their fans directing a beam of laser light onto the face of AC Milan goalkeeper Diego Lopez before the execution of a penalty at the Stadio San Paolo on Sunday evening.

Lopez fantastically denied Gonzalo Higuain from the subsequent penalty before three goals in just six second half minutes from Marek Hamsik, Gonzalo Higuain and Manolo Gabbiadini secured a comfortable 3-0 win for the Partenopei.
