Parma - RomaRoma player Seydou Keita is insistent that his side will do all they can to secure second place in Serie A by beating Lazio in the Rome derby on Monday.

Rudi Garcia’s team has already secured Champions League qualification and a comfortable draw would see Lazio also through to the competition at the expense of Napoli, who will be hoping the Giallorossi win to keep their own slim aspirations of third place alive.

“I’m hoping to play in the derby,” Keita told El Mundo Deportivo. “We are battling to finish second in the league with Lazio and we want to avoid the preliminary rounds of the Champions League so we will play to win.

“I hope to be back next season to be a part of this great competition.”

The 35-year-old Mali international joined Roma at the start of this campaign after a spell with Valencia and has featured 24 times in Serie A, scoring two goals in the process.
