Roma have turned their attention to Club Brugge goalkeeper Matthew Ryan, as they continue their search for a new custodian.
The 23-year-old Australian international is regarded as the best shot-stopper in the Belgian Pro League, and has also been linked with a move to Liverpool in the past few months.
HNL report that Roma are seriously considering meeting Club Brugge’s €8 million valuation for the highly-rated shot-stopper, as they aim to secure a replacement for Morgan De Sanctis.
The player is ready to take the next step in his career, and is believed to be keen on a move to the Serie A giants.
Ryan has enjoyed another magnificent season, winning the Asian Cup with Australia in January and accumulating 56 appearances this season for Brugge.
