Edin Dzeko is a target for Serie A club Roma as the Manchester City striker struggles for game-time in the Premier League.
Having sealed second-place and automatic Champions League qualification, the Lupi’s thoughts now turn to 2015/16 with reinforcements necessary if a stronger challenge to Juventus’ supremacy is to be made.
According to the Daily Mirror, Bosnian striker Edin Dzeko has been evaluated as a potential signing after the 29-year-old has fallen out of favour with coach Manuel Pellegrini in recent months.
Despite being a key part of two Premier League winning sides, Dzeko only started 11 league games last season having played in 31 in 2013/14, when he contributed 16 goals.
Now, having been shoved behind Wilfried Bony in the pecking order, Roma sense a possible bargain to revamp their attacking force that saw no single player contribute more than eight goals in the previous campaign.
