Sevilla coach Unai Emery is the most likely candidate to replace Filippo Inzaghi as coach of AC Milan.

The 43-year-old Spaniard is favoured to take over the Rossoneri having won the Europa League in only his second season with his current club.

According to Tuttosport, the Spanish outfit was watched by Milan scouts during the two Europa League matches against Fiorenina.

Emery, who guided Sevilla from 9th place in the 2012-13 season, finished 5th with the club the following year despite heavyweight opponents such as Atletico Madrid, Barcelona and Real Madrid.

Whilst Emery is seen as the most likely to join the Milan bench, former coach Carlo Ancelotti could also make a dream return to the Italian side, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Italian has been rumoured to be leaving Real Madrid at the end of the season and could return to the team he led to two UEFA Champions League victories.

The new coach would be the fourth in three seasons, with Massimiliano Allegri, Clarence Seedorf and Filippo Inzaghi all having coached the outfit within the past 18 months.

Milan currently sit 11th and are 36 points behind leaders Juventus.
