Sevilla coach Unai Emery still had praise for Fiorentina after reaching the Europa League final with a 5-0 win on aggregate.

The holders are now on course to win a record-breaking fourth title in Warsaw on May 27 after a 2-0 success in the second leg at the Stadio Artemio Franchi.

“The result was excessively heavy. I really liked the way Fiorentina played in both legs,” the 43-year-old tactician said in his post-match press conference.

“I would like to thank Fiorentina for these two games and also thank both our fans and those of Fiorentina, who eventually recognized the value of their opponents.”

“Despite the heavy deficit, Fiorentina had their chances to score in both matches.

“This competition is important for us and for the fans. Getting to the final was not easy and we did it after many battles.

“If Dnipro eliminated Napoli it means that they are a good team.

“Sevilla and Dnipro are both two teams that deserve to have reached the final.

“I will not say that we are favourites, we have a 50 percent chance just like Dnipro.

“We will continue to work with the same mentality in order to win the game.”
