Okaka - SampdoriaStoke City and Southampton have confirmed their interest in Sampdoria forward Stefano Okaka with the 2014/15 campaign drawing to a close.

The 25-year-old has netted four times for the European hopefuls in Italy but a move to England is not off the cards.

Stoke are seen as the front-runners to gain the Italian’s signature this Summer according to La Gazzetta Dello Sport, who also report that there is interest from Crystal Palace for fellow striker Eder.

Due to Sampdoria’s superb season thus far, owner Massimo Ferrero knows it is likely such talent will be targeted and is set to deal with a number of possible transfer when Serie A concludes in May.

The Potters have a strong interest in Okaka, with scouts visiting Genoa for the home game against Juventus at Stadio Luigi Ferraris.

It is unknown what the figure would be to tempt both Sampdoria to sell and Okaka to leave, considering the forward is out of contract in 2016.
