Bee Taechaubol believes his drawn-out takeover bid for AC Milan should be completed within the space of four weeks.
The Thai entrepreneur has returned home following talks in Italy with Rossoneri president Silvio Berlusconi and remains confident he can push the deal over the line, despite ongoing interest from rival Chinese investors.
“I am convinced that the agreement with AC Milan will be done within three or four weeks, after we sort out the legal issues,” said Mr. Bee to reporters awaiting his return in Bangkok.
“Once we have completed this phase, we can begin thinking about building a winning team, but we cannot give details [of the proposal] at this stage.
“We must firstly close the deal.”
Struggling AC Milan slumped to a third straight Serie A defeat at the hands of Napoli yesterday to leave Filippo Inzaghi’s men languishing in 11th place.
