Torino defender Matteo Darmian has admitted it would be a dream to play for Spanish champions Barcelona.
The former AC Milan and Palermo player has been linked with a move away from the Granata and he has also given his view on a return to the Stadio Meazza.
“It would be a dream to play for Barcelona, we will see what happens,” Darmian told Tuttomercatoweb.com
“I grew up at Milan and spent ten wonderful years at the club. I would be happy to return to my home.
“I made my debut under [Carlo] Ancelotti and I have a fantastic relationship with him. After what he did in his first spell, it would be a great return for everyone involved.
“Inzaghi has done a good job given the circumstances. He has brought great enthusiasm to the role.”
On his current coach, Darmian said: “[Giampiero] Ventura has given me confidence from the moment I started working with him.
“He has improved me and he is a master of football. Everyone at Torino is reaping the fruits of his hard work.”
