Torino are leading the chase ahead of a host of Serie A and overseas clubs for the services of Cagliari midfield ace Albin Ekdal.
The 25-year-old Swedish international is set to leave the relegated Sardinian club at the end of the season, and his performances have won him plenty of admirers.
Tuttosport report that Torino are winning the race to sign the former Juventus man ahead of Serie A rivals Fiorentina and Lazio.
Tottenham Hotspur, Trabzonspor and even a few unnamed German clubs are said to be in the hunt for the midfielder as well, but Ekdal would prefer to stay in Italy.
Ekdal has made 114 appearances and scored eight goals for Cagliari since moving from Bologna in 2011.
