Torino are considering a move for on-loan Fiorentina forward, Alessandro Diamanti, should the Florentine club decide to parts ways with the Italian in the summer.

The 32-year-old joined Fiorentina in the January transfer window on loan from Chinese club Guangzhou Evergrande, but despite becoming an instant hit with the fans. It is rumoured that he has failed to convince the hierarchy at the Tuscan club and could head back to China at the end of his loan spell.

According to reports from La Gazzetta dello Sport, should Fiorentina not take up the option on Diamanti, Torino are willing to snap up the unwanted Prato born attacker.

Several Italian clubs have reportedly been monitoring the Italian, even before his return to Serie A in January, which could see competition heat up.

However, should the Granata wish to be the side that lands the midfielder then it’s feasible they will have to pay a similar fee to that offered to Fiorentina by Guangzhou, which stands at €3 million.
