Newly promoted Watford have been linked with a move for Cagliari forward Paul-Jose M’Poku as they begin to prepare for life in the Premier League next season.

The 23-year-old has also attracted interest from fellow English club Southampton, as the Belgian’s future looks set to continue away from the Isolani.

As claimed by The Sun, the Hornets are ready to spend up to €4 million on the Belgian attacker to tempt him away from the Rossoblu.

M’Poku has only spent half a season in Serie A since leaving Standard Liege on loan in January, but a possible move to the Premier League could prove too tempting for the striker.

The Congolese born player managed to find the net during Cagliari’s most recent win, a 4-0 success over Parma, which was his second goal in 13 appearances for the Sardinian club.
