Following an impressive season with high flying Sampdoria, newly capped Italian international Eder has been attracting the attention of Inter, although the Nerazzurri could face competition for the forward’s signature from the Premier League’ West Ham United.

The Brazilian-born striker has been instrumental in the Blucerchiati’s push for European places this season, scoring nine goals in 30 appearances, form which has not gone unnoticed by other clubs.

La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that while Inter weigh up a transfer bid for the 28-year-old, The Hammers are preparing their own offer thought to be in the region of €8 million, although Sampdoria president Massimo Ferrero values his attacker at closer to the €10 million mark.

Despite being born in Southern Brazil, Eder has spent all but one of his 11-year long professional career in Italy and qualified to represent the Azzurri through an Italian grandparent, making his debut in March’s 2-2 draw with Bulgaria.
