Gervinho - Roma v FiorentinaWinger Gervinho’s proposed move from Serie A side Roma to Al Jazira is on the brink of collapse due to the player’s demands, which the Abu Dhabi outfit is unwilling to meet.

An agreement between the two clubs had apparently been reached, with a a transfer fee of around €14 million set to allow the former Arsenal player to leave Italy for a new adventure in the United Arab Emirates.

However, the Corriere Della Sera is reporting that the forward has made requests to Al Jazira which have been described as being ‘obscene’ by the side’s representatives.  On top of his €4.5 million a season wages, Gervinho has allegedly asked for a helicopter and his own private beach as well as demanding jobs and housing be provided for some of his entourage.

The story suggest that Roma will be disappointed if the deal is not concluded as they had earmarked the sale as providing funds for future purchases.
