Arsenal are preparing to bid for Napoli defender Faouzi Ghoulam to bolster their chances of the Premier League title in 2015-16.
Napoli coach Maurizio Sarri wants to keep a hold of the Algerian, but a big offer from the Gunners could tempt the new coach at the helm to part with the player.
According to reports coming from Eurosport, Arsenal would be willing to pay up to €15 million for the services of the Algerian to bring him to the Emirates Stadium.
London rivals Chelsea are also monitoring the situation and could launch a late bid for the 24-year-old.
It is unknown whether a bid will be put in place by either English side in the coming weeks, with Napoli attempting to hang onto one of their prized assets as they look to themselves launch a title bid in Serie A.
Ghoulam signed for Napoli in the January transfer window last season, and has since played 21 leagues matches for the Partenopei.
