Premier League side Newcastle United have had a potential move for on-loan AC Milan midfielder Marco Van Ginkel, approved by parent club Chelsea
The Blues are thought to be interested in loaning the young midfielder to another Premier League club to gain experience in the English, rather than the player having another year abroad.
According to the Metro, Newcastle have proposed a loan bid to Chelsea for Van Ginkel to take the Dutch midfielder to Tyneside for the 2015/16 season, and in turn Stamford Bridge outfit have accepted the offer and are also keen to wrap up the deal.
Milan are also thought to want to keep the 22-year-old at the Stadio Meazza for another season.
Van Ginkel joined Milan last summer, and made 17 Serie A appearances for the Rosseneri, netting only one goal.
