Paloschi - Verona v ChievoChievo striker Alberto Paloschi has committed his future to the Flying Donkeys and signed a contract extension that will keep him in Verona until 2019.

The 25-year-old had previously been linked with a move to Fiorentina after scoring nine goals in 35 appearances for the Gialloblu during the 2014-15 Serie A season.

Chievo confirmed on the club’s official website that Paloschi has signed a contract that will keep him with the club until June 2019.

“I am very happy and proud that an agreement has been reached,” said Paloschi to the club’s official site.

“I would like to thank the president [Luca] Campedelli and the whole club for the faith they are continuing to show in me.

“I also thank the fans for the enthusiasm and energy on their part that I can feel every day.

“I only know one way to repay all this faith in me; to always work hard in training, during matches and to take to the pitch with grit, passion and a willingness to make sacrifices for this shirt.”
