Despite admitting that AC Milan have come to an agreement with Atalanta to sign Daniele Baselli, the midfielder’s agent Beppe Riso has not ruled out a future elsewhere for his client and he will talk to Fiorentina this week.
The trip to Florence is intended to discuss the future of fellow youngster Leonardo Capezzi, who spent last season on-loan at Varese, but the 23-year-old Nerazzurri man is clearly on the agenda as well.
“The situation with Milan? There is an agreement between the clubs and I expect the situation will develop,” Riso told Radio Blu.
“However, later in the week I will meet Fiorentina to talk about the renewal of [Leonardo] Capezzi, we’ll see if there will be an opportunity to also talk about Daniele [Baselli].
“In Italy there are several who like him [Capezzi], Fiorentina hold the boy in high regard.
“We will evaluate with the club which is the best path for its growth.
“It looks like [David] Pizarro will be in the ream, he plays well in both [his] positions and is a guy who can do everything.”
