Genoa have reportedly accepted an offer from newly promoted English Premier League side Watford for ace winger Diego Perotti.
The 26-year-old Argentinian international has enjoyed a career renaissance with the Grifone this campaign, and his form has led to reported interest from Italian giants Inter and AC Milan.
Sky Sport Italia reveal however, that it is Watford who are closest to signing the talented winger, after they had an undisclosed offer accepted for Perotti this week.
It is reported that Perotti is hesitant to join the Premier League new boys, who are offering to double his current salary to €1.4 million a season.
The player however would rather join Valencia, and is hoping that the La Liga side return with a more substantial offer that meets Genoa’s valuation of the player.
Perotti netted four goals in 27 matches for Genoa this season.
