Perotti - Lazio v GenoaAC Milan remain keen on Genoa ace Diego Perotti as talks begin the two clubs are set to intensify in the coming days.

The 26-year-old Argentinian international has enjoyed a career renaissance with the Grifone this campaign, and his form has led to reported interest from Italian giants Inter and Milan.

Tuttosport report that Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani is set to meet Genoa president Enrico Preziosi at the Forte dei Marmi on Monday to discuss the futures of certain players, namely Perotti and M’Baye Niang.

Genoa wish to extend the loan of Niang, who has impressed since joining the Grifone temporarily in January, for another season.

Milan however, may wish to include Niang in any possible deal for Perotti, in order to sweeten the deal, as they attempt to beat out their city rivals to the signature of the talented wide-man.

Perotti has netted five goals in 27 league appearances this season.
