Hellas Verona have set their sights on a move for young Manchester City midfielder Bruno Zuculini.

The 22-year-old Argentinian youth international signed from Racing Club last summer, but was immediately sent on loan to Spain, firstly with Valencia, then Cordoba.

The player endured quite an unsuccessful time in La Liga, only mustering nine appearances over both spells, and it has left City feeling unconvinced that he is deserving a spot in the first-team.

Sky Sport 24 reveal that new Verona director Riccardo Bigon is keen on the youngster, who he tracked during his time at Napoli, and wants to make him his first signing of the summer.

Zuculini’s brother, Franco, incidentally plays in Italy, with his team Bologna ready to come up against Verona after they were promoted back to the top flight last summer.
