Lukas Podolski has said goodbye Serie A and temporary employers Inter with little of note to show for his time at the Giuseppe Meazza, and could be on his way to Galatasaray after a brief stop with owners Arsenal.
Arriving in Milan from the Premier League club in January the 29-year-old scored just one Serie A goal for the Nerazzurri during a disappointing spell and quickly indicated he will not be getting a permanent deal.
“Ciao San Siro,” Podolski wrote on Twitter.
However, although having to return to his parent club ,Tuttomercatoweb have reported that the German international and his representatives are set to begin talks with Turkish giants Galatasaray on Wednesday.
Far more was expected from the 2014 World Cup winner after Roberto Mancini began his rebuilding at Inter, but that solitary strike was an awful return from 17 outings.
