Inter are keen on capturing Manchester United winger Nani this summer, according to reports emerging in Italy on Tuesday.

The Portuguese international fell out of favour at the club last summer after the arrival of Louis van Gaal and spent the last year on loan back in his homeland with Sporting Club, who he helped end their trophy drought by beating Braga in Sunday’s Cup final to win their first piece of silverware since 2008.

TMW are reporting that the attacker will struggle to find space in the Red Devils side for the coming campaign and that the Nerazzurri are tempted to make a move for his services.

It is understood that Roberto Mancini, who would have come against him during his spell on the other side of the city, is a fan of the player but that it could take up to €10 million to prise him away from Old Trafford where he still has three years left on his current deal.

During his spell in Portugal last season, the 28-year-old scored seven goals and claimed six assists during his 27 league games.
