Inter have set their sights on Wolfsburg forward Ivan Perisic, as it’s expected first choice target Mohamed Salah with re-sign with Fiorentina.
Nerazzurri coach Roberto Mancini had targeted the Egyptian after his future was thrown into doubt following Vincenzo Montella’s sacking from La Viola. However, it now looks as if the 23-year-old will remain in Florence.
As a result, the Nerazzurri are exploring other options and GazzettaTV are reporting Die Wolfe forward Perisic in next on the list of names for the forward line, but a deal to bring the 26-year-old to the Stadio Meazza would likely cost around €20 million.
The Croatian can play as a forward or a second striker and has made 68 appearances and scored 17 goals in three seasons for Wolfsburg, since making the move from Borussia Dortmund for €8m in January 2013.
