Porto striker Jackson Martinez has made it clear that he’s not an AC Milan player yet as he still considers the many transfer options he has ahead of the 2015-16 campaign.

The 28-year-old, whose current contract with the Dragons is set to expire in June 2017, has been heavily linked with a move to the Rossoneri in recent weeks, with many believing that he’s already decided to join the Italian club and is only waiting to sign a deal, though he insists that he plans on reviewing all of the offers he’s received from outside clubs and is still undecided on where he may end up next term.

Martinez spoke to the press in Chile on Sunday about his current transfer situation and calmed rumours claiming that he’s already signed with AC Milan, confirming that he has plenty of opportunities to choose from.

“Before you say that I’m a Milan player, you must ask me,” said the Colombian international, who is currently participating in the Copa America with his country’s national team.

“I’m not a Milan player. There’s a possibility that I can become one, which I’m considering like all other pursuing clubs, but to say that I’m a Milan player is wrong.

“I’m close to Milan, just as I’m close to other clubs. There is a possibility that I can play there, but there are also other teams in Spain and England that want me. I haven’t made a decision yet.

“Do I have any preferences? I’m analysing my options to see what’s best and I’ll decide in a few days.”
