Juventus and AC Milan are both pondering moves for Tottenham Hotspur forward Erik Lamela.

The 23-year-old has largely disappointed during his spell at White Hart Lane since he arrived from Roma in 2013, and could be on the move in the summer.

According to the Daily Mail, Juventus are eyeing the Argentinian as a potential replacement for the now departed Carlos Tevez, with Bianconeri coach Massimiliano Allegri keen to bring a creative forward to the Juventus Stadium.

However, Juve could have competition from Milan as Sport Mediaset report that the Rossoneri are hoping to lure Lamela to the Stadio Meazza as they look to further continue their summer spending spree.

As a result of these links to Italy, Spurs, according to Sky Sports, will no let Lamela go at any cost and intend to keep him in the Premier League next season.

Lamela arrives at Tottenham for a fee of around €30 million, and has bagged only six goals in 59 appearances for the Lilywhites.

Speculative bull***t from an unscrupulos and untrusted newspaper. The closed season is better known as the silly season when all kinds of stupid articles appear on a daily basis. The same news about Lamela was circlated last Summer, the papers were insistant that Lamela was on the move then. It didnt materialise.
Lets not forget, Italian football is virtually bankrupt and they couldnt afford Lamela’s transfer fee. I could however, see a loan deal if anything and nothing more.

Milan are better off working on the defensive frailties. We need at least one top notch defender and another promising young one and to get rid of the deadweights like zaccardo, Albertazzi and Bonera.
