Juventus defender Leonardo Bonucci could reportedly sign a contract extension in the coming days depending on the outcome of a meeting between his representatives and the Old Lady executives.

The 28-year-old, whose current deal with the Bianconeri is set to expire in June 2017, has seen himself linked with a shocking move to European giants Real Madrid lately, though it seems like his future may still be in Turin for now.

According to GianlucaDiMarzio.com, the Italian international’s agent will be meeting with the Juventus executives on Thursday with hopes of finally coming to an agreement regarding a new deal for the centre back, as talks in recent weeks have failed to produce anything concrete.

Reports suggest that Real Madrid may be looking to steal Bonucci from the Serie A champions if Sergio Ramos were to make his departure from the Primera Division club this summer, which could pose a serious threat to Juve’s mission to keep him.

The defender scored three goals in his 34 Serie A appearances last term.
