Juventus defender Angelo Ogbonna says his dreams have been realized by reaching the Champions League final with the Bianconeri and hopes his side can go all the way and clinch the title next Saturday in Berlin.

The Italy international is in his second season at the Juventus stadium after joining from arch rivals Torino in 2013 for a reported €13 million, but has mostly been used as back-up in the Juve defence since signing.

“I’m very satisfied to have reached the Champions League final in my second season at the club,” Ogbonna told reporters at the club’s media day.

“This is a winning team and I have found it very easy to integrate with the side.

“My dream has become a reality, I grew up watching my idols playing in the big finals and now I’m here it’s amazing.

With Saturday night’s opponents Barcelona in fine form after clinching the double in Spain, Ogbonna was asked about the form of the Catalans and the danger Lionel Messi brings.

“Messi is the best player in the world, I saw his goal on Saturday, it was unbelievable. It will be great to play against him if I’m picked.  We will show respect to Barcelona but we will play with no fear,” he added.
