Keita extends Roma contract

Parma - RomaRoma have signed a new contract with their midfielder Seydou Keita.

The 35-year-old Malian international has become a key figure in the middle of the field for the Giallorossi is expected to have agreed the same terms as his previous contract with the club, and will stay on with them for another year.

Il Tempo reported the news, saying that the new deal is worth around €1 million for one more year with the club after he signed a one-year deal when he was signed by coach Rudi Garcia at the start of the 2014/15 season.

Keita joined the side following the end of a short stint at Spanish La Liga side Valencia, and has scored three goals in all competitions in 29 games for the club this season, with two of those coming in Serie A.
