Italian World Cup winning coach Marcello Lippi has ruled a return to coaching in the Serie A.

The 67-year-old Italian has been out of work since resigning as coach of Chinese giants Guangzhou Evergrande in November 2014, and says he has no intention of returning to coaching at club level.

“Will I return to working in Italy? Not as a coach,” Lippi told La Gazzetta dello Sport. “I’ve had many offers from England, Turkey and others.”

“For now, I’ll enjoy my summer. Then in October, if an national team needs me, I’ll be ready. Otherwise I’m fine.”

Lippi won a plethora of trophies as Juventus boss in two different stints from 1994-2004, and has also managed Inter, Napoli and Atalanta in the Serie A.
