Manchester United would have set their sights on Lazio star Lucas Biglia, and would be readying a bid to tempt the Argentine out of Rome.
After an impressive season with Lazio, helping the club finish third in Serie A and into the final of the Coppa Italia, Biglia has become one of the Aquile’s many in-demand players.
Manchester United would be preparing a €25 million bid for Biglia, according to the Daily Express.
Lazio president Claudio Lotito had already slapped a €25 million price tag on the Argentine midfielder, after reports of PSG’s interest arose.
The 29-year-old midfielder arrived at Lazio in 2013 from Belgium side Anderlecht. Last season, Biglia made 27 appearances in Serie A for Lazio, scoring three goals in the process.
