Jose Callejon - NapoliNapoli winger Jose Callejon could be back home in Spain next season, as the club deliberates over an offer made by La Liga giants Atletico Madrid.

The tricky wide man has been a success in Italy since his transfer from Real Madrid in 2013, having scored 26 goals in Serie A over the last two seasons.

However, with Rafa Benitez having now left his coaching role at the club, El Mundo Deportivo is reporting that the player may decide on a switch back to the county of his birth and that Diego Simeone’s side have offered the Partenopei €11 million for his services.

The Azzurri had an indifferent campaign last season, finishing fourth in the league and missing out on Champions League football.

With the appointment of new boss Maurizio Sarri, a degree of change is expected at the Stadio San Paolo and Callejon may find himself as one of the first of many to depart the southern club.
