Napoli goalkeeper Luigi Sepe has entered talks with Fiorentina over a prospective transfer, his agent has confirmed.
The Viola are in the market for a new shot-stopper among many other positions, but may have found their man should negotiations with both player and owner go smoothly.
“There are talks which have started with Fiorentina,” said the representative of the 24-year-old to AlfredoPedulla.
“The future however is far from obvious, as Sepe is back with pleasure in Naples but evaluating his position.”
The youngster spent last season out on loan at Empoli, where he featured regularly in a side that surprised many by finishing 15th in the Serie A table.
“If the opportunity was to go and play [regularly], then it would be assessed with great serenity,” continued Mario Giuffredi.
“For now all is absolutely still.”
